Growing up college was the norm. Trades weren't mentioned as an option and passions weren't seen as career options. I grew up with the belief that I needed to go to college. It wasn't my parents who taught me this either. It was society really. I was always an artsy person, and my mindset thought just that. I'm artsy, but where will that get me in life? I never imagined that my hobby would turn into the flourishing business I have today.
Back in 2012, I attended Oregon State University where I began my core classes to explore my career options. As I searched for options I noticed that not one of opportunities offered to me were something I could see myself doing forever. Why? Because I didn't love them. I wasn't passionate about them. Here I was about to enter into a field that lacked the creativity that I was gifted with. What a waste that would have been! I was drawn to the art classes and decided that I was going to dabble in photography. I always loved having my friends dress up and pose for photos. I should have known I was going to fall in love far before I discovered my love for photography. After my first photography class I opened up my business and started working towards my dreams of becoming a photographer. After the year at Oregon State I wanted to learn everything there was to keep growing my new business. I found a program that every class was centered around the photography industry. I learned so much in that year of education. After, I felt I had everything I needed to keep growing my business fundamentally. After school I invested in other photographer's education opportunities (free and paid) to learn all I could for my growing business.

Mentorship options

Sixty minutes to ask anything business related. No limits on questions and answers, I will answer anything and everything! I want you to succeed! We can do this in person over coffee or if you're not local then over Google Meets is a great option as well!
60 minute 1:1 Coaching Call
$400
You will have the opportunity to job shadow me in your niche (excludes a wedding). This will give you the opportunity to see the flow of my session so you'll be able to do the same in your own business.
I will set up and style one session in your niche to help build your portfolio. I will shoot along side you and guide you through the session so you'll feel comfortable leading your own session the next time.
I will complete a portfolio review to help you determine which align with your desired brand.

I will help you identify your brand and translating your brand into your business. I will complete a website critique and offer advice on how you can better your SEO to help you begin getting seen on Google. You will receive Blog Post Ideas for your niche in your area
