Garden of the Gods is one of the most picturesque places in Colorado Springs. It’s no wonder why so many couples decide to elope or even have their engagement session at Garden of the Gods. The red rock formations and grassy fields are perfect for getting a few different looks during your session. Garden of the Gods was one of my most requested photo locations in 2024!

Garden of the Gods Location Variety

For an engagement session at Garden of the Gods I typically start with getting the more picture perfect jaw dropping poses at the rock formations. The rock formations aren’t very easy to do a ton of movement posing due to the occasional safety risk with the ledges. I use the paths and dirt roadways for our movement poses and get most the candid shots done by these locations. This location is perfect if you have an outfit change since the grassy location is right near the parking lot. I always have a changing tent for couples who would rather not change in the car.
